It’s time for the Semi-Annual Profile Review! A reminder that this review deadline is by request only.
To have your Artist or Applicant Profile reviewed at the Semi-Annual Review, you must request a review by clicking on the Request Review button in your profile by Friday, August 30 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
After the Semi-Annual Review, some artist or applicant ratings may increase, but none will decrease. New ratings go into effect on October 1, 2019. It’s important to make sure that you update your additional information sections such as sales, streams, and live performance dates with the most current information before requesting a review.
Artists:
Artists currently rated General and 2 should update if they want to be considered for a higher artist rating. Check the table of snapshot scores for Artists 2 and 3 from the last review round to see if you have achieved or are approaching these scores. If so, we recommend updating your Artist Profile and requesting a review.
Artists currently rated 3 should not update, as ratings cannot go down at the Semi-Annual Review.
For information on how to fill in the Additional Information sections of the Artist Profile, check out the Artist Profile Additional Information Guide (PDF).
Companies:
Eligible Music Companies should update their Applicant Profiles if they want to advance to a company rating of 2 or 3. These ratings provide access to Business Development and Business Travel funding in the Support for Eligible Music Companies program, as well as the lower tier of the Comprehensive Music Company program for record labels. Check the rating one-sheets for details on the requirements for each rating.
