The Annual Profile Review deadline is coming up on Friday, February 26, 2021. This is an important deadline for applicants looking to increase their rating. During this review period, FACTOR assesses all applicant profiles in the system and new ratings will go into effect on April 1, 2021.
Please note that any Record Labels interested in receiving a rating of 4 and gain access to the Comprehensive Music Company program must update their profile by the deadline. FACTOR only issues these particular ratings at the beginning of every fiscal year.
Clients should log in to portal.factor.ca and verify that the information provided in their applicant profile is accurate and up to date by 5:00 pm EST on February 26.
Music companies that do not update their profiles before the deadline risk losing their company rating if the mandatory information in their profiles has become outdated. They will not have another chance to be rated until the Semi-Annual Review in August (to achieve a 2 or 3 rating), or next year’s Annual Review (to achieve a 4 rating).
