The recent Annual General Meeting of FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings), held on Wednesday June 25th, 2008 saw the departure of three members of the Board of Directors. Specifically, Ric Arboit, President of Nettwerk Music Group, Brian Depoe, PD and Operations Manager for 97.3 EZ Rock and Jim West, President of Distribution Fusion III.
Newly appointed Directors are Aubrey Winfield, President of Orange Records, Drew Keith, PD and Operations Manager of CHAM in Hamilton and Grant Dexter, President and CEO of MapleCore.
The following Directors have been nominated for the following positions on the FACTOR Board; Pegi Cecconi, VP Anthem Entertainment as Chair, Nicole Jolly, VP Operations, FLOW 93.5 as Vice-Chair, Brian Hetherman, President, Curve Music and Cerberus Artist Mnagement as Secretary and Chris Lecomte, VP, Finance & Administration, CORUS Radio as Treasurer.
Returning Directors are Rob Farina, VP - Program Development for CHUM Radio, Alvin Jahns, VP Stony Plain Recording, Susan Wheeler, VP Regulatory Affairs for Rogers Broadcasting and Terry Kelly, AF of M Representative and Artist.
