Attention: CD’s burnt from computers are risky!

If you have a CD to use as your background music, please allow the sound technician to test it on the in-house sound system before the performances begin.  We have encountered some problems with computer burnt CD’s, so please have a back-up plan in the event your music won’t play.

Please read carefully below and make note of the guidelines we have applied for the benefit of both the artists and FACTOR staff.

General notes about FACTOR Open Mic’s:

The FACTOR staff will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the FACTOR programs between 6:30-7:30pm.  Staff will not be answering questions during performances.

To be fair to all artists wishing to perform we request that you only sign-up for yourself or one other artist.  Multiple sign-ups cannot be accepted.

Due to time constraints each artist will be initially permitted to play one song up to a maximum of four minutes long. Should there be time at the end of the evening, we will go through the line-up from top to bottom and allow second performances for as long as time permits. If you don’t get the chance to play, no worries, come out to the next one!

Please make sure you are tuned up and ready to go when your performance is to begin.

To better promote future Open Mic’s, we may want to use your name and photo on the FACTOR website.  In order to do so we will ask all artists to sign a release form.  If you choose not to sign the form, you are still more than welcome to perform!

Age restrictions may apply.  Please speak directly to the venue personnel.

For further information, or to offer suggestions and feedback, please contact Stephanie Malek, Submissions Co-Manager, Phone: 416-696-2215 X 212
We look forward to seeing you!
