FACTOR Open Mic Night

Due to the phenomenal success of FACTOR’s first ever Open Mic Night, we have some great news…We’re doing it all again! The FACTOR Open Mic Night is a unique opportunity for emerging artists to perform in front of fellow artists in a supportive, casual, laid-back environment. The Open Mic committee was so floored by the event’s success that we discussed the desire of having it on a monthly basis.

Check out the schedule below for the upcoming date and keep your eyes on the website for future Open Mic’s!

General notes about FACTOR Open Mic’s:

The FACTOR staff will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the FACTOR programs between 6:30-7:30pm.  Staff will not be answering questions during performances.
To be fair to all artists wishing to perform we request that you can only sign-up for yourself or one other artist.  Multiple sign-ups cannot be accepted.
Due to time constraints each artist will be initially permitted to play one song up to a maximum of four minutes long. Should there be time at the end of the evening, we will go through the line-up from top to bottom and allow second performances for as long as time permits. If you don’t get the chance to play, no worries, this is just the beginning!
Subject to availability, the front room of the Cameron House will be used as the tuning area.  Please make sure you are tuned up and ready to go when your performance is to begin.
To better promote future Open Mic’s, we may want to use your name and photo on the FACTOR website.  In order to do so we will ask all artists to sign a release form.  If you choose not to sign the form, you are still more than welcome to perform!
Age restrictions may apply.  Please speak directly to the venue personnel.

For further information or to offer suggestions and feedback, please contact the co-chairs of the FACTOR Open Mic, Kat Salvador or Paty Koutso at 416-351-1361 or by visiting www.factor.ca

We look forward to seeing you!
